ABOUT FASCINATION
FASCINATION is a gear/ fetish/ kink space with regular events in Boston, New York and Provincetown. Our monthly Boston event happens at Legacy Night Club (79 Warrenton St.) every first Monday of the Month from 9pm-1am. Our monthly Brooklyn Event happens at 9 Bob Note (270 Meserole St.) Please join our mailing list by tapping here to keep up to date on the party as well as additional special events. DJs Colby Drasher and ZoilaRosa Z are our residents and spin techno, tech/deep house, electronica and other dark and sexy grooves. The event also features visuals by Michael Flowers highlighting both original footage as well as scenes from vintage kink cinema. We host guest demos led by local members of the Imp@ct, Rope, Leather, Rubber, Pet, Furry, Leatherdyk3 and broader BDSM community. Although the event is leather inspired, we are looking to bring together a diverse and gender inclusive cross section of Boston fetish culture (rubber, sports gear, bondage, S&M, pet play, furry, abdl, and more) by creating a space for folks in the community to meet up.
NO DRESS CODE but fetish gear and creativity are both strongly encouraged. (rubber, sports gear, bondage, S&M, pet play, furry, abdl, and more) Feel free to change at the club, clothing check is available for both of our regularly occuring monthly events in Boston and New York. Clothing check is cash only, Boston: $4. New York: $5. Please note that clothing check is not available for our events at Dorchester Brewing Company and unfortunately, jock straps are not permitted at these events. We ask that Beer Bust guests think “day time kink” when selecting their outfits for the event. Please do not wear attire that exposes your genitals.
CONSENT
Consent is mandatory in our space. ALWAYS receive clear and explicit consent before touching another person. When in doubt, ask. If anyone is making you uncomfortable at the event, please approach a staff member if you need support or assistance. Disrespectful patrons will be asked to leave.
PHOTO POLICY
We respectfully ask that you refrain from taking or sharing photos or videos that include individuals who have not provided explicit consent. This includes but is not limited to the demonstrations that will be occurring throughout the night. When in doubt, please don’t.
Members of the Fascination team will be on hand all night and identifiably wearing Illuminated red armbands. If you need assistance, we are here to help. We appreciate you working with us to keep Fascination a safe space for everyone.
NOTE ABOUT PLAY
Sadly, Fascination is not a play party because liquor licensing ordinances are both archaic and unfortunate and the bar has to play by them to keep their liquor license. We humbly request everyone’s cooperation when it comes to sęxu@l activity on bar premises. Look, we get it. The laws around liquor and sęxu@l activity suck. With that said, because of these laws, the venue can not permit any open and expl!c!t sęxu@l activity on bar premises. This behavior not only puts our event at risk but also poses a threat to the entire venue that we share with countless other queer people who depend on this space to make a living.
Please be mindful about how your behavior may affect others in the community.
If approached by a Fascination team member, please be cool about it. We are approaching you because we would like to politely and empathetically reiterate the confines of our space based on laws (that we have no control over) that could have serious repercussions for the venue if enforced.
We are not intervening to shame you and, trust us, we hate it as much as you do. We are also approaching you because if a member of the venue’s security team has to get involved, they may respectfully ask you to leave and we do not want that to happen.
Patrons who are rude or aggressive to Fascination team members or members of venue security will be asked to leave. Do not be that person. We ask that everyone works with us so that we can continue to hold space with all of you for a very long time.

NOTE ABOUT DEMONSTRATIONS
Demos at Fascination function as a way to introduce our guests to a variety of kink disciplines in providing a small taste facilitated by our guest demonstrators. Often, though not always, demonstrators choose to welcome the participation of guests.
Alternatively, demonstrators may choose to exclusively work with individuals they already have a pre-existing, k!nk relationship with in a pre-negotiated scene for guests to experience as an audience. This choice is at the sole discretion of the demonstrator working the event.
Participatory demonstration slots are extremely limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Sign ups will happen at the venue where the demonstrations are occurring. Please note, there is not an option to sign up before the event. Please arrive early for your best chance at getting a spot.
Our demos are capped at a specific number so that we are able to ensure a thorough, and complete negotiation process between demonstrator and participant. It is for this reason that access to a demonstration slot is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the demonstrator.
Observably intoxicated individuals will not be allowed to participate in demonstrations and demonstrators may choose not to work with folks who they feel may not be a great fit for a particular demonstration based on their expressed limits or concerns, level of anxiety, experience or other factors that may increase risk past the point the demonstrator is comfortable with.
All demos will utilize the following safe words with a corresponding signal to express boundaries during a scene:
Green: Yes, this is well within the pre-discussed limits we've set. Keep going.
Yellow: I am approaching my limit, pause. I would like to check in but am not ready to abandon the scene.
Red: I am at or past my limit, stop the scene immediately.
All demonstrators will implement this system and additionally work with participants to negotiate a signal for each word ahead of the scene.
While demos are a great opportunity to learn about and expose you to a variety of kink disciplines, Fascination is NOT the space to push your limits with a Dom (or sub) you have never worked with before.
It is with this in mind that if either party calls “yellow” twice during a scene, that scene will be over. You are welcome and encouraged to work with a partner you know and trust to explore limits and engage in more intense scene work in a more controlled environment outside of Fascination.
Consent works both ways and a demonstrator can stop a scene at any time for any reason. Please respect the boundaries and decisions of our demonstrators as we collectively work to take every precaution to ensure a safe, consensual and positive experience for everyone.

Folks dance but it's more of a cruisy vibe with pretty consistent BDSM demos happening through out the night. The thing we are most proud of is that it's a really friendly crowd with people that actually talk to each other. You should check out the next party!
What should I wear?/ I don’t have any gear, will I fit in?
We have no dress code so please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. We have people that come in from everything from jeans and a t-shirt to full leather kits. Our crowd is predominantly into leather and sports gear but the fetish spectrum runs the gamut and we encourage a multitude of presentations. Please do not wear attire that exposes your genitals.
Should I come alone?/ I’m kinda nervous, will I meet people there?
If you are the type of person who feels comfortable in new settings meeting new people, you should feel free to come solo and check out the night alone! If you get anxious in smaller rooms with medium to larger crowds or feel uncomfortable in kink spaces that welcome a multitude of genders, gender presentations and sexualities, Fascination may not be the space for you. If you feel more comfortable in groups of people that you know and would like a group to fall back to, you should invite a couple of people to come with It is a really friendly crowd and we make every effort for all attendees to feel safe and comfortable. Hope that helps!

Are women, trans folks and non-binary folks welcome in your space?
Always! Fascination is a space that centers the intersection of queerness and kink and makes every attempt to welcome everyone under that umbrella regardless of gender or gender expression.
Though, historically, we have skewed heavily toward gay men, since our re-launch in April of 2022 we have had a significantly higher number of queer women, non-binary folks and binary trans people attend the party. We prioritize creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere for all of the queer community members in attendance. We have been partnering with members of these communities to make sure that everyone feels welcome within the space.
We also have a zero tolerance policy for misogyny, transphobia or racism in our space and also take consent practices very seriously. We hope to see you at the next event!
What is your policy around consent?
Consent is mandatory in our space.
Once again:
Consent. Is. Mandatory. In. Our. Space.
You must receive clear and explicit consent before touching another person. We recognize that there are a myriad of non-verbal ways to provide consent. With this said, if you have even a shred of doubt in your mind, you must ask verbally and ask verbally again. As a reminder, consent can be revoked at anytime and you must respect the boundaries of any individual you are engaged with. Check in and check in often, especially if introducing a new activity in a scene.
Please refrain from taking photos of individuals and groups who have not explicitly consented to being photographed. Please be mindful that this also includes individuals in the background of your photos.
We are very serious and these policies are actively enforced. Individuals who are found to have explicitly and knowingly violated the consent of another individual will be asked to leave and not welcome back.
Members of the Fascination team will be on hand all night and identifiably wearing Illuminated red armbands. If you need assistance, we are here to help. We appreciate you working with us to keep Fascination a safe space for everyone.
